Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at (828) 328-1080 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

How long have we been in business?

SlumberTime was started in 1980 as SlumberTime Watrerbed Company and has evolved throughout the years to become the largest mattress gallery and the largest kids furniture store in western North Carolina. We are a family owned and operated business and take pride in what we do daily.

What are Store Hours?

We are open Monday - Saturday from 9:30-5:30 and Sunday from 12-5 and of course we are always open online.

How Long does it take to get my order?

The majority of our product is available for shipping immediately and is located in warehouses in North Carolina and Virgina. If you are picking up at our Store Location or getting delivered locally 90 percent of our product is available in a week to 10 days. When shipping outside of our local area it depends on your location and is generally between 2 and 6 weeks.

Why do we use a white glove delivery service for online orders?

We only ship out of state orders using a white glove delivery to protect our customers. The service will do complete delivery and setup of the product you purchase online unless otherwise noted. This enables us to proctect you from damages as the service will take care of any problems that arise. Our local customers have the option of picking up at our store or having just a drop off to a garage or downstairs floor.

Why is pricing different in store than online?

Many manufacturers require MAP (minimum advertised price) pricing for product on the internet. In this case we have to publish the MAP pricing but then we offer Free white glove delivery and setup. If you are local and can purchase in store you have the option of picking up at the store or doing local drop off or delivery. In this case you can save approximately 20 to 25% off of the MAP pricing. For questions please give us a call 828-328-1080.

Why isn't all product available for purchasing online?

Promotional items as well as baby furntiure is only available instore, this allows us to keep the lowest possible price on these items.

What form's of Payment do we offer?

We accept all major credit cards and have special no interest programs available on our own SlumberKids credit card available through our partership with Synchrony and West Creek Financial. We also offer instore lay-a-way.

Why do we not service all states?

We currently only offer shipping to states that we can service in a timely fashion and still offer our white glove delivery. The states that we service are:

North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, Vermont, Kansas and Colorado.
